About

The festival is named for a 2009 song by Lucky Dragons.

In addition to the annual festival, Open Melody will present other events in and around LA throughout the year.  We plan to reincorporate as a nonprofit organization before our second annual festival in 2027.

Open Melody 2026 is a fiscally-sponsored project of LA arts entity dublab, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are able to accept donations and aligned sponsorship oppurtunities to support Open Melody in 2026 and beyond. Please contact us here if relevant.

Additional support for Open Melody 2026 graciously provided by Fanfare Projects, Fender, and KCRW
