Open Melody is a new independently-produced annual music festival based in Los Angeles featuring artists from around the globe with a focus on adventurous sounds from across genres.

Open Melody 2026 weekend and single-day passes are available via WithFriends, a community-minded ticketing platform founded by artists and musicians. You will receive a festival wristband when you arrive at 2220 Arts + Archives.

2220 Arts + Archives is an intimate, arts-minded and community-operated music venue and theater in Historic Filipinotown. Open Melody 2026 will take place between the venue’s Theater and Archives stages.
The venue has a full bar. Please note that the venue (and therefore the festival) is 21+. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink.
Local food and coffee vendors will be on premises:

Food vendors TBA shortly.
The venue is ADA accessible and features 3 accessible restrooms. Additional restrooms will be present in the venue’s rear lot.
Once you have your festival wristband you are welcome to leave and re-enter the venue as you wish.

About
The festival is named for a 2009 song by Lucky Dragons.
In addition to the annual festival, Open Melody will present other events in and around LA throughout the year. We plan to reincorporate as a nonprofit organization before our second annual festival in 2027.
Open Melody 2026 is a fiscally-sponsored project of LA arts entity dublab, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are able to accept donations and aligned sponsorship oppurtunities to support Open Melody in 2026 and beyond. Please contact us here if relevant.
