Open Melody is an independently-produced annual music festival based in Los Angeles featuring artists from around the globe with a focus on adventurous sounds from across genres.


Open Melody 2027 will take place Friday March 26 to Sunday March 28 2027 at 2220 Arts + Archives in Los Angeles.

In the festival off-season, we occasionally present interesting music events around Los Angeles.

The first edition of Open Melody took place from April 3 to 5 2026 at 2220 Arts + Archives in Los Angeles. OM26 featured 24 artists and groups from 10 US states, Canada, Japan, UK and Sweden.

The festival is named for a 2009 song by Lucky Dragons.
